of Free Zones (Amendment) Act 2024

Section 2
The Free Zones Act 1990 [Act 438] is amended in subsection 2(1)—
(a)
in the definition of “principal customs area”, by substituting for the words “and Pangkor” the words “, Pangkor and
Pulau 1”; and
FREE ZONES (AMENDMENT) ACT 2024
(b)
by inserting after the definition of “proper officer of the Authority” the following definition:
‘ “Pulau 1” shall have the same meaning assigned to it under subsection 2(1) of the Customs Act 1967;’.
