Section 2
The Administration of Islamic Law (Federal Territories) Act 1993 [Act 505], which is referred to as the “principal Act” in this Act, is amended in section 2 by deleting the definition of “Peguam Syarie”.

Saving and transitional
(2)
On the date of coming into operation of this Act, any Sijil
Peguam Syarie issued under the principal Act before the coming into operation of this Act and is still valid, and any Sijil Peguam
Syarie issued for the purpose of subsection (1), shall be subjected to the Syarie Legal Profession (Federal Territories) Act 2019
[Act 814].
