Section 50A
(1)
No person shall keep in captivity for sale, export or exhibition any animal or bird in any place which is not licensed in that behalf in accordance with rules made under this Act:
Provided that this section shall not apply except in such areas as shall be prescribed by such rules.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five

thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
