Power to stop and search for arms, etc., in the street

Section 52
(1)
It shall be lawful for any police officer to stop and to search for arms, ammunition or imitation arms any person whom he may find in any street or other public place at any hour of the day or night who acts in a suspicious manner or whom he may suspect of having any arms, ammunition or imitation arms in his possession.

No woman shall be searched under this section except by a woman.
