THE BRANDING (KUDAT AND TUARAN DISTRICTS) FEES RULES, 1953
Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 23 of the Cattle, Grazing and Pounds Ordinance, 1914 [No. 26 of 1914.], and all other powers thereunto him enabling, the Governor has made the following rules:-
Section 2
A fee of fifty cents shall be paid by the owner in respect of the branding in the Kudat and Tuaran Districts of any cattle with the District brand by the person duly appointed by the District Officer to carry out such branding.
Section 3
The person duly appointed by the District Officer to carry out the branding of cattle with the District brand, shall be entitled to one half of any fee paid under rule 2.
