Section 12

The keeper in charge of each pound shall be appointed in writing by the District

Officer or the President who may also cancel, in his discretion and for good cause shown, such appointment.

Every pound-keeper shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of the Penal Code [F.M.S. Cap. 45.].*
