Notice of meetings of members to contain statement of rights to appoint proxies
In every notice calling a meeting of members of a company, there shall appear prominently, a statement informing the member of his rights under section 334, failing which every officer who contravenes this section commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit.

Any person who authorizes or permits an invitation to appoint as proxy a person or one of a number of persons specified in the invitation to be issued at the company’s expense to only some of the members entitled to be sent a notice of the meeting and to vote in the meeting by proxy, commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit.

The proceedings of the meeting shall not be invalidated notwithstanding the non-compliance with this section.
