Section 20G
Application for grant and renewal of licence
(a)
in the form and manner as the Commission may specify;
and
(b)
in the case of renewal of licence, made not later than thirty days, or such other period as the Commission may specify, before the expiry of the licence.
(2)
The Commission may require an applicant to furnish the information or documents as the Commission thinks necessary in relation to the application.
(3)
An application for the grant or renewal of a licence shall be accompanied with a prescribed fee which shall be paid in the manner as may be specified by the Commission.
(4)
The Commission may grant or renew a licence if the
Commission is of the opinion that the applicant is a fit and proper person to hold the licence, after considering the following:
(a)
the character, qualification and experience of the applicant;
(b)
the interest of the public; and

(c)
whether the applicant had previously contravened any provisions of this Act or the laws specified in the First
Schedule.
(5)
Every licence granted or renewed under this section shall be valid for a period of three years from the date of issue or renewal unless—
(a)
otherwise specified by the Commission; or
(b)
sooner revoked by the Commission.
