Regulations

(2)

Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), regulations may be made for all or any of the following purposes:

(a)

the duties and functions of the Registrar, Deputy Registrars,

Assistant Registrars and other employees appointed to

assist with the administration of this Act and the laws specified in the First Schedule;

(b)

the fees and charges under this Act, which include exempt payment of any fees and charges on such terms and conditions as the Minister thinks fit;

(c)

any requirement relating to educational and training programmes for any officer of a corporation, any person or class of persons;

(d)

any matter relating to licensing as specified in Part IIIC and the procedures in respect of appeal; and

(e)

all matters and things required or authorized by this Act to be prescribed, for the carrying out of, or giving full effect to, the provisions of this Act.

(3)

Any subsidiary legislation made under this Act may provide for any act or omission in contravention of the subsidiary legislation and may provide for penalty of a fine not exceeding five hundred thousand ringgit or imprisonment for or a term not exceeding three years or to both.
