Section 22
(1)
The High Court shall have jurisdiction to try all offences committed
(a)
within its local jurisdiction;

on the high seas on board any ship or aircraft registered at any place in Malaysia;
(c)
by any person who is a citizen or a subject of the Ruler of any State in Malaysia, on the high seas or on any aircraft;
(d)
by any person on the high seas where the offence is piracy by the law of nations.
(2)
The High Court may pass any sentence allowed by law.
