s 40Notice or order not to be invalid for error in description

No notice, notification or other process, issued, served or published, and no order, decision or judgment made, given, issued, served or published, under this Act shall be deemed to be invalid by reason of any error or omission in the description of the property or person mentioned therein if such property or person is identifiable from the description so mentioned.

Without prejudice to subsection (1), where any order has been made, or a decision or judgment given, by any court in any proceedings under this Act, any error or omission in the order, decision or judgment relating to any description of any property or person may at any time be rectified by the court on its own motion or on the application of any party or any person affected by the order, decision or judgment.
