Section 59 of the principal Act is amended—

(a)
in subsection (2)—
(i)
by substituting for the word “five” the words
“twenty-five”; and
(ii)
by deleting the words “and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit for each day during which the offence continues after conviction”; and
(b)
in subsection (6)—
(i)
by substituting for the word “five” the words
“twenty-five”; and
(ii)
by deleting the words “and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit for each day during which the offence continues after conviction”.
