Opening note

Preamble

Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 4(2) Enakmen Mahkamah Syariah (Terengganu) 2001 [En. tr. 3/2001], Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan, atas nasihat Majlis, menubuhkan Mahkamah Tinggi Syariah bagi Negeri Terengganu sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual.

Preamble

In exercise of the power conferred by subsection 6(1) of the Syariah Court (Terengganu) Enactment 2001 [Tr. En. 3/2001], the Duli Yang Maha Mulia Maha Mulis Sultan, on the advice of the Majlis, constitutes a Syariah High Court for the State of Terengganu as specified in the Schedule.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 79 of the Subordinate Courts Act 1948

[Act 92], the State Authority of Terengganu Darul Iman has appointed the persons named in column (1) of the First Schedule to be Second Class Magistrates in and for the State of Terengganu Darul Iman with effect from the dates specified in column

2. Pengarah Ukur dan Pemetaan Terengganu, bagi maksud awam, iaitu suatu tapak untuk masjid dan telah menetapkan bahawa Pesuruhjaya Hal Ehwal Agama Terengganu atau pengganti-pengganti jawatannya hendaklah menyenggara tanah rizab.

Terengganu, for a public purpose, to wit, a site for mosque and has designated that the Commissioner of Religious Affairs of Terengganu or his successors in office shall maintain the reserved land.
