- Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 43(1) Enakmen Pentadbiran Agama Islam (Negeri Melaka) 2002 [Enakmen No. 7/2002], Yang di-Pertuan Agong atas nasihat Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Melaka, menubuhkan Mahkamah Rendah Syariah bagi Negeri Melaka sebagaimana yang disebutkan dalam Jadual mulai dari 10 Mei 2017.
