Section 81 of the principal Act is amended—

Section 64
(a)
by substituting for the scale the following scale:
“Where the fine the period may extend to does not exceed five thousand ringgit
…
two months exceeds five thousand ringgit but does not exceed ten thousand ringgit
…
four months exceeds ten thousand ringgit but does not exceed twenty thousand ringgit
…
six months”;
and
(b)
by substituting for the words “for every one hundred ringgit after the first two hundred ringgit” the words
“for every ten thousand ringgit after the first twenty thousand ringgit”.
