A person who is registered or who attempts to get himself or any other person to be registered under this Act by making or producing or causing to be made or produced any false or fraudulent representation or declaration either orally or in writing commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.
