s 45Appointment of legal advisor

(1)

The Council or the Disciplinary Committee may appoint a legal advisor to assist the Council or the Disciplinary Committee during any inquiry touching on a disciplinary matter.

(2)

The Council or the Disciplinary Committee may appoint any person who is and has been an advocate and solicitor for a period of not less than five years to advise it on—

(a)

all questions of law ensuing in the course of the inquiry;

and

(b)

the meaning and construction of all documents procured during the inquiry.
