Section 12
(1)
An exporter or importer shall make a declaration to the Director in respect of timber to be exported or imported, before the exportation or importation of such timber.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
