Section 2

In this Ordinance unless there is anything repugnant in the context –

“Court” means the High Court or a Judge thereof sitting in open Court;

“infant” means a person who has not attained the age of majority;

“Judge” means a Judge of the High Court sitting in Chambers; and

“Protector” means the State Director of Social Services of Sabah and includes any

Social Welfare Officer.
