This Order may be cited as the Holidays (Amendment of Schedule) Order 1985 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1985.

THE HOLIDAYS (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULES) ORDER, 1985
Opening note
This Order may be cited as the Holidays (Amendment of Schedule) Order 1985 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1985.
The First Schedule to the Holidays Ordinance is hereby deleted and the following substituted thereof:-
“FIRST SCHEDULE
Every Sunday
The First day of January
Chinese New Year and the following day
Good Friday
Labour Day
The day preceding and the day succeeding the last Sunday in June (Harvest Festival)
The Birthday of His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong
Hari Raya Puasa and the following day
Hari Raya Haji
National Day
The Birthday of His Excellency the Yang di-Pertua Negeri
Awal Muharram
Hari Keputeraan Nabi Mohammed S.A.W.
Christmas Day”
