Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Holidays (Amendment of Schedule) Order 1986 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1986.

THE HOLIDAYS (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULES) ORDER, 1986
Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred upon him under subsection (4) of Section 3 of the Holidays Ordinance, the Yang di-Pertua Negeri hereby makes the following Order:
Section 2
The First Schedule to the Holidays Ordinance is hereby deleted and the following substituted thereof:-
“FIRST SCHEDULE
Every Sunday
The First day of January
Chinese New Year and the following day
Good Friday
Labour Day
The day preceding and the day succeeding the second Sunday in May (Harvest Festival)
The Birthday of His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong
Hari Raya Puasa and the following day
Hari Raya Haji
National Day
The Birthday of His Excellency the Yang di-Pertua Negeri
Awal Muharram
Hari Keputeraan Nabi Mohammed S.A.W.
Christmas Day”
