Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Holidays (Amendment of First Schedule) Order, 1987 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1987.

THE HOLIDAYS (AMENDMENT OF FIRST SCHEDULE) ORDER, 1987
Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred under subsection (4) of section 3 of the Holidays Ordinance, the Yang di-Pertua Negeri hereby makes the following Order:
Section 2
The First Schedule to the Holidays Ordinance is hereby amended by substituting the words “The last two days in
May (Pesta Kaamatan)” for the words “The day preceding and the day succeeding the last Sunday in June (Harvest
Festival)” appearing therein.
Dated at Kota Kinabalu, this 2nd day of January, 1987.
