Section 9
(1)
A licensee shall exhibit his licence at all times at a conspicuous place in the licensed hotel and shall produce such licence if required to do so by the Commissioner or any authorized officer.
(2)
A licensee who fails to exhibit or to produce his licence under subsection (1) commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or to both.
(3)
For the purpose of this section, a reference to a “licence”
shall include a copy of the licence certified by the Commissioner to be a true copy of the licence.
