(2)
Acts and subsidiary legislation shall come into operation immediately on the expiration of the day preceding their commencement.
(3)
Notwithstanding subsections 2(1) and (2) and subsection 65(2), subsections (1) and (2) shall apply—
(a)
to all Acts enacted after the 31 December 1968
including Acts which amend laws enacted before the commencement of Part I of this Act; and

(b)
to all subsidiary legislation made after the 31 December 1968, whether made under a law enacted before or after the commencement of Part I of this Act whether or not that law has been revised under the Revision of Laws
Act 1968.
Subsidiary legislation may be retrospective
