Appointment of Registrar General and Registrar

Section 9
(1)
The Minister may appoint a Social Welfare Officer to be the
Registrar General of Children for the purposes of this Act.
(2)
The Minister may appoint such number of public officers as he deems necessary by name or by office to be Registrars of Children.
(3)
The Registrar General shall have the general supervision and control of—
(a)
Registrars appointed under subsection (2); and
(b)
the registration of children in need of protection under this
Act.
