NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 42(6)(a)
Oleh kerana Y.A.B. Menteri Besar Kedah Darul Aman, pada 31 Mei 2003 telah mengeluarkan Perintah Suntikan Pencegahan Penyakit Anjing Gila (Kedah Darul
Aman) di bawah Seksyen 42(1) Ordinan Binatang 1953, berkaitan dengan Daerah-daerah Kubang Pasu, Padang Terap, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Pendang, Baling dan Sik dalam Negeri Kedah Darul Aman. Oleh kerana itu, pada menjalankan kuasa-kuasa yang diberikan oleh Seksyen 42(6)(a), Ordinan Binatang 1953, Pengarah Perkhidmatan
Haiwan Negeri Kedah Darul Aman, dengan ini memaklumkan bahawa tiap-tiap anjing yang berumur tiga bulan dan lebih di dalam daerah-daerah Kubang Pasu, Padang
Terap, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Pendang, Baling dan Sik dalam Negeri Kedah Darul
Aman, hendaklah selepas 1 Mac 2003 dan pada bila-bila masa, semasa perintah-perintah tersebut berkuatkuasa memakai pada badannya satu lencana bernombor yang dikeluarkan bagi tahun 2003 oleh Jabatan Perkhidmatan Haiwan Malaysia Barat, yang menjadi keterangan bahawa anjing itu telah disuntik supaya terpelihara daripada penyakit Anjing Gila.
Mana-mana anjing yang berumur tiga bulan dan lebih yang dijumpai di daerah-daerah
Kubang Pasu, Padang Terap, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Pendang, Baling dan Sik dalam
Negeri Kedah Darul Aman selepas daripada 1 Mac 2003, semasa merayau-rayau atau tidak, yang mana tidak memakai lencana suntikan yang tersebut itu akan dimusnahkan.

- Whereas, the Y.A.B. Menteri Besar Kedah Darul Aman, has on the 31st May 2003 made Anti Rabies Vaccination (Kedah Darul Aman) Order under Section 42(1) of the Animal Ordinance, 1953 in respect of the District of Kubang Pasu, Padang Terap, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Pendang, Baling and Sik in the State of Kedah Darul Aman. Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 42(6)(a) of the Animal Ordinance 1953, the Director of Veterinary Services, Kedah Darul Aman requires that every dog three months of age and above, within the District of Kubang Pasu, Padang Terap, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Pendang, Baling and Sik in the State of Kedah Darul Aman shall after the 1st March 2003 and at all times, during the continuance in force of the said order, carry upon it a serially numbered badge issued for the year 2003 by the Veterinary Department West Malaysia, as evidence of its having been vaccinated against Rabies. Any dog three months of age and above found within the Districts of Kubang Pasu, Padang Terap, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Pendang, Baling and Sik in the State of Kedah Darul Aman after the 1st March 2003, whether at large or not which does not carry upon it both the said vaccination badge may be destroyed.
