Application for police assistance

Section 63
(1)

If the Land Administrator is opposed or impeded in taking possession under this Act of any land he may apply to the Chief Police

Officer for assistance in taking such possession; and the Chief Police

Officer shall thereupon take such steps as he may consider necessary to enforce the surrender of such land to the Land Administrator.

(2)

For the purpose of this section, “Chief Police Officer” includes a Commanding Officer appointed under the Police Act 1967 [Act 344].
