Section 33
(1)
The provisions of this Act shall apply in respect of all land in a designated area or a group settlement area notwithstanding any provision of the State land law or of any other existing law to the contrary and the provisions of the State land law and any other existing law shall have effect in respect of such land only in so far as they are not inconsistent with the provisions of this
Act.

Nothing in this Act shall affect the operation of any existing law relating to Malay reservations.
