Section 102
(1)
Subject to subsection (2), a licensed operator shall, at least three months before the intended date of opening of a railway, give to the Director General of Land Public Transport a written notice of its intention to open the railway.
(2)
The Director General of Land Public Transport may, if it thinks fit or on the application of a licensed operator, reduce the period within which the notice under subsection (1) is to be given or dispense with such notice.
