Pursuant to section 13 of the National Forestry Act 1984 as adopted by the

National Forestry Act (Adoption) Enactment 1985, the State Authority of Selangor declares that the area which is described in the Schedule, and which is part of a permanent reserved forest known as Sungai Karang Forest Reserve and declared as such vide Gazette Notification No. 48 of 1990 shall cease to be a permanent reserved forest with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette.
