Cancellation of the Certificate of Adoption
of Muslim Adoption Enactment 2024

Section 26
(1)
If the adoption order has been cancelled by the Court and no further orders are made, the Court shall, make an order to the Registrar to cancel the Certificate of Adoption.
(2)
The Registrar shall, upon payment of fee ten ringgit, cancel the certificate and return the original birth certificate in favour of the natural parent or the guardian of the child.
