NOTICE OF PROPOSED REVOCATION OF RESERVATION OF
LAND FOR PUBLIC PURPOSE
WHEREAS, by Notification No. 736/1959 published in the Selangor Government
Gazette on 12 November 1959, in exercise of the powers conferred upon the Ruler in
Council by section 24(i) of the Land Code 1926 [No. 24/1926] and delegated to him vide Selangor Government Gazette P.W. Sel. 188/1952, the Menteri Besar of Selangor had proclaimed that the parcel of land being Lot No. 68 situated in the Section 90
Town of Kuala Lumpur, having an area of 5 acres 3 roods 28 poles delineated upon revenue survey plan No. 21,436 which is now deposited in the office of the Director of
Survey and Mapping Selangor, to be a reserve for a public purpose, to wit, a site for a national school to be maintained by the Chief Education Officer of Selangor:
AND WHEREAS, by P.U. (B) 108/2003 published in the Gazette of the
Government of the Federation on 3 March 2003, the Government of the Federation has delegated the exercise of its powers under section 64 of the National Land Code
[Act 56/1965] to the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of Kuala
Lumpur:
AND WHEREAS, it now appears expedient to the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur that the whole of the aforesaid reservation be revoked:
NOW THEREFORE, the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of
Kuala Lumpur, in exercise of the powers under subsection 64(1) of the National Land
Code conferred upon the Government of the Federation and delegated to it, gives notice under subsection 64(2) of the National Land Code of the proposal to revoke the whole of the aforesaid reservation as described in the Schedule and that any person who desires to object against such revocation will be heard by the Land
Administrator of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur at an enquiry to be held at the Office of Director of Lands and Mines of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur,
