PENGECUALIAN

1.

Bagi maksud penyelenggaraan, pembaikan, peningkatan, pembersihan dan pemugaran bahagian jalan yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (1) Jadual Pertama.

2.

Bagi maksud pemacakan, pemasangan, penyelenggaraan, pengubahan atau pengalihan mana-mana struktur, kerja, peralatan atau apa-apa benda di dalam, di bawah atau di atas bahagian jalan yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (1)

Jadual Pertama.

3.

Bagi maksud perkhidmatan kecemasan dan penguatkuasaan oleh agensi Kerajaan dan pihak berkuasa tempatan.

4.

Bagi maksud perkhidmatan pembersihan, pembuangan dan penghantaran sisa domestik oleh kenderaan motor di bawah kelas kenderaan yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (2) Jadual Pertama seperti lori sampah, lori pembersihan pembetungan dan lori vakum pembetungan.

5.

Bagi maksud kecemasan jika penggunaan mana-mana jalan selain yang terdapat dalam koordinat yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (1) Jadual Pertama menjadi mustahil atau tidak sesuai.

ROAD TRANSPORT ACT 1987

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 70

The

Minister of

Works proposes to make an order under section 70

of the Road Transport Act 1987 [Act 333], the effect of which will be to prohibit the driving or use of motor vehicles under the classes of vehicles specified in column (2)

of the First Schedule, on the part of the road specified in column (1) of the First Schedule as shown on the map in the Second Schedule, on the day and time specified in column (3)

of the First Schedule, with effect from 21 October 2024.

Exemption from such prohibition shall be given for the purposes and in circumstances specified in the Third Schedule.

Objections to the proposal, if any, must be sent in writing to the Director, Operational Monitoring Division, Malaysian Highway Authority,

Wisma Lebuhraya, KM-6, Jalan Serdang-Kajang, 43000 Kajang, Selangor Darul Ehsan, on or before 14 October 2024.

THIRD SCHEDULE

EXEMPTION

1.

For the purposes of maintenance, repair, improvement, cleaning and clearance of the part of the road specified in column (1) of the First Schedule.

2.

For the purposes of erection, installation, maintenance, alteration or removal of any structure, works, apparatus or anything in, under or over the part of the road specified in column (1) of the First Schedule.

3.

For the purposes of emergency services and enforcement by the Government agencies and local authorities.

4.

For the purposes of cleaning services, disposal and delivery of domestic waste by motor vehicle under the classes of vehicles specified in column (2) of the First Schedule such as garbage truck, sewerage cleaning truck and sewerage vacuum truck.

5.

For the purposes of emergency if the use of any road other than which appears in the coordinates specified in column (1) of the First Schedule is rendered impossible or unsuitable.
