Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph (c) of the definition of “qualified person” in section 3 of the Legal Profession Act 1976 [Act 166], the Qualifying Board declares that—

(a)

any person who has passed the final examination conducted by the

Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia leading to the qualification of a Degree of Bachelor of Law and Shariah (Honours) commencing with the 2018 cohort; and

(b)

any person who has completed his study in Degree of Bachelor of Law and

Shariah (Honours) at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia by the end of the year 2016

and 2017 and has obtained the ‘Certificate of Completion’ of Skill and Practical

Training is a qualified person for the purposes of the Act with effect from 19 May 2021.
