Preamble
- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh perenggan
(a)
mana-mana orang yang telah lulus peperiksaan akhir yang dikendalikan oleh Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia yang membawa kepada kelulusan
Ijazah Sarjana Muda Undang-Undang dan Syariah dengan Kepujian bermula dengan kohort 2018 ialah orang berkelayakan bagi maksud Akta berkuat kuasa mulai 19 Mei 2021;
(b)
mana-mana orang yang telah menamatkan pengajian dalam
Ijazah Sarjana Muda Undang-Undang dan Syariah dengan Kepujian di
Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia pada penghujung tahun 2017 dan telah memperoleh
‘Certificate of
Completion’
bagi
Kemahiran dan
Latihan Praktikal ialah orang berkelayakan bagi maksud Akta berkuat kuasa mulai 19 Mei 2021; dan
(c)
mana-mana orang yang telah menamatkan pengajian dalam
Ijazah Sarjana Muda Syariah dan Undang-Undang dengan Kepujian di Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia pada penghujung tahun 2016 dan telah memperoleh ‘Certificate of Completion’ bagi Kemahiran dan
Latihan Praktikal ialah orang berkelayakan bagi maksud Akta berkuat kuasa mulai 28 September 2021.

[P.U. (B) 347/2021] yang disiarkan dalam Warta pada 6 Julai 2021 dibatalkan.

NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 3
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph (c) of the definition of “qualified person” in section 3 of the Legal Profession Act 1976 [Act 166], the Qualifying Board declares that—
(a)
any person who has passed the final examination conducted by the
Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia leading to the qualification of a
Degree of Bachelor of Laws and Shariah with Honours commencing with the 2018 cohort is a qualified person for the purposes of the Act with effect from 19 May 2021;
(b)
any person who has completed his study in Degree of Bachelor of Laws and
Shariah with Honours at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia by the end of the year 2017 and has obtained the ‘Certificate of Completion’ of Skill and
Practical Training is a qualified person for the purposes of the Act with effect from 19 May 2021; and
(c)
any person who has completed his study in Degree of Bachelor of Syariah and Law with Honours at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia by the end of the year 2016 and has obtained the ‘Certificate of Completion’ of Skill and
Practical Training is a qualified person for the purposes of the Act with effect from 28 September 2021.
Revocation 2.
Notification under section 3 of the Legal Profession Act 1976 [P.U. (B) 347/2021]
published in Gazette on 6 July 2021 is revoked.
