Kedah

dan

Perlis

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Arms Act 1960 [Act 206], the Minister exempts the Royal Thai Army from—

(a)

the application of subsection 3(2) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of operation for the

Combined Force Border Patrol Malaysia-Thailand Series 40/2023

between the Royal Thai Army and the General Operations Force,

Royal Malaysia Police and the Malaysian Army in Kedah (Kedah-Songkhla)

and Perlis (Perlis-Satun) provided that the arms licence granted to the Royal Thai Army in respect of the arms and ammunition is in force;

and

(b)

the application of paragraphs 5(1)(a) and (b) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of the Combined Force

Border Patrol Malaysia-Thailand Series 40/2023 between the Royal Thai

Army and the General Operations Force, Royal Malaysia Police and the Malaysian Army in Kedah (Kedah-Songkhla) and Perlis (Perlis-Satun).
