Preamble
PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 60 Akta Senjata 1960 [Akta 206],
Menteri mengecualikan Royal Thai Army daripada—
pemakaian subseksyen 3(2) Akta berkenaan dengan senjata dan amunisi yang dimaksudkan semata-mata bagi maksud operasi bagi Combined Force
Border Patrol Malaysia-Thailand Series 40/2023 antara Royal Thai Army dengan Pasukan Gerakan Am, Polis Diraja Malaysia dan Tentera Darat
Malaysia di
Kedah
(Kedah-Songkhla)
dan
Perlis
(Perlis-Satun)
dengan syarat bahawa lesen senjata yang diberikan kepada
Royal Thai Army berkenaan dengan senjata dan amunisi itu berkuat kuasa;
dan
pemakaian perenggan 5(1)(a) dan (b) Akta berkenaan dengan senjata dan amunisi yang dimaksudkan semata-mata bagi maksud
Combined Force Border Patrol Malaysia-Thailand Series 40/2023
antara Royal Thai Army dengan Pasukan Gerakan Am, Polis Diraja
Malaysia dan Tentera Darat Malaysia di Kedah (Kedah-Songkhla)
dan Perlis (Perlis-Satun).

ARMS ACT 1960
NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 60
Preamble
IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Arms Act 1960 [Act 206], the Minister exempts the Royal Thai Army from—
the application of subsection 3(2) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of operation for the
Combined Force Border Patrol Malaysia-Thailand Series 40/2023
between the Royal Thai Army and the General Operations Force,
Royal Malaysia Police and the Malaysian Army in Kedah (Kedah-Songkhla)
and Perlis (Perlis-Satun) provided that the arms licence granted to the Royal Thai Army in respect of the arms and ammunition is in force;
and
the application of paragraphs 5(1)(a) and (b) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of the Combined Force
Border Patrol Malaysia-Thailand Series 40/2023 between the Royal Thai
Army and the General Operations Force, Royal Malaysia Police and the Malaysian Army in Kedah (Kedah-Songkhla) and Perlis (Perlis-Satun).
