NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 60

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Arms Act 1960 [Act 206], the Minister exempts the United States Army from—

(a)

the application of subsection 3(2) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of training for the Exercise Balance Mint 24-0100 between the United States Army and

Pasukan 69 Komando, Royal Malaysia Police in Ulu Kinta, Perak provided that the arms licence granted to the United States Army in respect of the arms and ammunition is in force; and

(b)

the application of paragraphs 5(1)(a) and (b) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of

Exercise Balance Mint 24-0100 between the United States Army and

Pasukan 69 Komando, Royal Malaysia Police in Ulu Kinta, Perak.
