ARMS ACT 1960
NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 60
Preamble
IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Arms Act 1960 [Act 206], the Minister exempts the United States Special Forces Operation Detachment Alpha from—
the application of subsection 3(2) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of training for the Joint Combine Exchange Training Flash Mint 24-001 between the United States Special Forces Operation Detachment Alpha and the Naval Special Forces, Royal Malaysian Navy in Perak provided that the arms licence granted to the United States Special Forces
Operation Detachment Alpha in respect of the arms and ammunition is in force; and
the application of paragraphs 5(1)(a) and (b) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of the
Joint Combine Exchange Training Flash Mint 24-001 between the United States Special Forces Operation Detachment Alpha and the Naval Special Forces, Royal Malaysian Navy in Perak.

This Notification has effect from 13 May 2024 to 31 May 2024.
