Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Arms Act 1960 [Act 206], the Minister exempts the Personal Security Officer of the Heads of State from the United States of America, Canada and Indonesia from —
(a)
the application of subsection 3(2) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purposes of the 47th ASEAN
Summit; and
(b)
the application of paragraphs 5(1)(a) and (b) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purposes of the 47th
ASEAN Summit.
