PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subperenggan 42(a)(i) Akta Bekalan Gas 1993 [Akta 501], Perdana Menteri mengecualikan mana-mana pemunya atau penghuni sebuah rumah kediaman yang menggunakan gas asli yang dihantar terus melalui talian paip pengagihan daripada perenggan 11(g) Akta berkuat kuasa mulai 1 Julai 2020.

Dalam pemberitahuan ini, melainkan jika konteksnya menghendaki makna yang lain, “pemunya”, “penduduk” dan “rumah kediaman” mempunyai erti yang diberikan kepadanya di bawah Akta Jalan, Parit dan Bangunan 1974 [Akta 133].

NOTIFICATION OF EXEMPTION UNDER SUBPARAGRAPH 42(a)(i)

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subparagraph 42(a)(i) of the Gas Supply Act 1993 [Act 501], the Prime Minister exempts any owner or occupier of a dwelling house which uses natural gas delivered directly through a distribution pipeline from paragraph 11(g) of the Act with effect from 1 July 2020.

Seksyen 2

In this notification, unless the context otherwise requires, “owner”,

“occupier” and “dwelling house” have the meaning assigned to them under the Street, Drainage and Building Act 1974 [Act 133].
