Amendment of First Schedule
The First Schedule of the Free Zones Act 1990 is amended by inserting after item 10 the following item:

All that land situated in the Mukim of Tanjung Kupang, District of Johor Bahru, Johor bounded by the grey line as shown in the Gazette Plan 2219 deposited in the Office of the Director of Survey, Johor excluding the areas specified below:
land occupied by the Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn. Bhd., comprising Customs Inspection Bays bounded by the grey line as shown in the Gazette Plan 2219 (Block C-Row 12; an area of 3,834 square metres) and (Block F-Row 12; an area of 3,834 square metres).

- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 3(1) Akta Zon Bebas 1990 [Akta 438], Menteri membuat pemberitahuan yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Pemberitahuan ini bolehlah dinamakan Pemberitahuan Zon Bebas (Kawasan Yang Diisytiharkan) 1999.

Kawasan yang diisytiharkan
Menteri mengisytiharkan kawasan yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual sebagai suatu zon perdagangan bebas.

Negeri Had-had Zon
Johor Semua tanah yang terletak di dalam Mukim Tanjung Kupang, Daerah Johor Bahru, Johor yang dilingkungi oleh garisan kelabu sebagaimana yang ditunjukkan Pelan Warta 2219 yang disimpan di Pejabat Pengarah Ukur, Johor tidak termasuk kawasan yang dinyatakan di bawah:
tanah yang diduduki oleh Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn. Bhd., yang mengandungi Kawasan Pemeriksaan Kastam yang dikelilingi oleh garisan kelabu sebagaimana yang ditunjukkan dalam Pelan Warta 2219 (Blok C-Baris 12; kawasan seluas 3,834 meter persegi) dan (Blok F-Baris 12; kawasan seluas 3,834 meter persegi).

FREE ZONES ACT 1990
FREE ZONES (DECLARED AREA) NOTIFICATION 1999
In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 3(1) of the Free Zones Act 1990 [Act 438], the Minister makes the following notification:
Citation and commencement
1. (1) This notification may be cited as the Free Zones (Declared Area) Notification 1999.
(2)
This Notification shall come into operation on 1 October 1999.
Declared Area
2. The Minister declares the area specified in the Schedule as a free commercial zone.
