PEMBERITAHUAN ZON BEBAS (PINDAAN) 1996
Opening note
Preamble
- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 10(2) Akta Zon Bebas 1990, Menteri membuat pemberitahuan yang berikut:
Seksyen 1
Pemberitahuan ini bolehlah dinamakan Pemberitahuan Zon Bebas (Pindaan) 1996 dan hendaklah mula berkuatkuasa pada 20 Jun 1996.
Seksyen 2
Jadual Pertama kepada Akta adalah dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas butiran 4 butiran yang berikut:

"5. Pelabuhan Barat, Pulau Indah, Mukim Klang, Daerah Klang:
Semua tanah yang terletak dalam Mukim Klang, Daerah Klang, Selangor yang dilingkungi dengan garisan kelabu yang ditunjukkan dalam Pelan Warta 1174 yang disimpan di Pejabat Pengarah Ukur, Selangor.

Seksyen 6
Dermaga Air Dalam, Seksyen 4, bandar Butterworth, Daerah Utara, Seberang Perai:
Semua tanah yang terletak di Seksyen 4, bandar Butterworth, Daerah Utara,

Seberang Perai yang dilingkungi dengan garisan kelabu yang ditunjukkan dalam Pelan Warta 573 yang disimpan di Pejabat Pengarah Ukur, Pulau Pinang, tidak termasuk kawasan yang dinyatakan di bawah ini:

Bay Pemeriksaan Kastam untuk kontena (di antara Blok D dan landasan keretapi);
(v)
Tanah yang diduduki oleh Palm Co. Holding Bhd. bagi Tangki No. 1-4 dan Tangki No. 6-9; dan
(vi)
Tanah yang diduduki oleh Kedah Oil Palm Bulking Installation bagi Tangki No.1-16.".

Butiran 14 Jadual Kedua kepada Akta adalah dipinda—

(a)
dengan menggantikan perkataan "Muara Tabuan" dengan perkataan "Sama Jaya Kuching"; dan
(b)
dengan memasukkan perkataan "dan MPI/30-62(B)" selepas perkataan "MPI/30-51".

FREE ZONES (AMENDMENT) NOTIFICATION 1996
Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 10(2) of the Free Zones Act 1990, the Minister makes the following notification:
Seksyen 1
This notification may be cited as the Free Zones (Amendment) Notification 1996 and shall come into force on 20 June 1996.
Seksyen 2
The First Schedule to the Act is amended by inserting after item 4 the following item:

"5. West Port, Pulau Indah, Mukim of Klang, District of Klang:
Activities
All that land situated in the Mukim of Klang, District of Klang, Selangor bounded by the grey line as shown in the Gazette Plan 1174 deposited in the Office of the Director of Survey, Selangor.
Seksyen 6
Deep Water Wharf, Section 4, city of Butterworth, District of North Seberang Perai:
All that land situated in Section 4, city of Butterworth, Northern District, Seberang Perai bounded by the grey line as shown in the Gazette Plan 573 deposited in the Office of

Name of Free Commercial Zone the Director of Survey, Penang, excluding the areas specified below:
(c)
The Customs Examination Bay for containers (between Block D and the railway line);
(v)
Land occupied by the Palm Co.Holding Bhd. for Tank Nos. 1-4 and Tank Nos. 6-9; and
Seksyen 3
Item 14 of the Second Schedule to the Act is amended—
(b)
by inserting the words "and MPI/30-62(B)" after the words "MPI/30-51".
