Preamble
- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 10(2) Akta Akta 438. Zon Bebas 1990, Menteri membuat pemberitahuan yang berikut:
Seksyen 1
Pemberitahuan ini bolehlah dinamakan Pemberitahuan Zon Bebas (Pindaan) 1997 dan hendaklah mula berkuatkuasa pada 15 Mei 1997. Nama dan mula berkuatkuasa.
Seksyen 2
Jadual Pertama kepada Akta Zon Bebas 1990 adalah dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas butiran 8 butiran yang berikut: Pindaan Jadual Pertama.

Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 10(2) of the Free Zones Act 1990, the Minister makes the following notification: Citation and commencement.
Seksyen 1
This notification may be cited as the Free Zones (Amendment) Notification 1997 and shall come into force on 15 May 1997.
Seksyen 2
The First Schedule of the Free Zones Act 1990 is amended by inserting after item 8 the following item:
