Preamble
- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 10(2) Akta Akta 438. Zon Bebas 1990, Menteri membuat pemberitahuan yang berikut:
Seksyen 1
Pemberitahuan ini bolehlah dinamakan Pemberitahuan Zon Bebas (Pindaan) 1998 dan hendaklah mula berkuat kuasa pada 16 April 1998.
Seksyen 2
Jadual Pertama kepada Akta Zon Bebas 1990 adalah dipinda dalam butiran 9 dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan "PTB 20006" yang terdapat di bawah kepala "Nama bagi Zon Perdagangan Bebas" perkataan yang berikut:
"(kecuali Pejabat Kastam dan Kawasan Pemeriksaan Kastam)".

Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 10(2) of the Free Zones Act 1990, the Minister makes the following notification: Citation and commencement. 1. This notification may be cited as the Free Zones (Amendment) Notification 1998 and shall come into force on 16 April 1998.
Seksyen 2
The First Schedule to the Free Zones Act 1990 is amended in item 9 by inserting after the words "PTB 20006" appearing under the heading "Name of Free Commercial Zone" the following words: " (excluding the Customs Office and the Customs Examination Area)".
