PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 1(2) Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi (Pindaan) 2024 [Akta A1727], Menteri menetapkan—

(a)

1 Januari 2025 sebagai tarikh seksyen 7, 11, 13 dan 14 Akta itu mula berkuat kuasa;

(b)

1 April 2025 sebagai tarikh seksyen 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10 dan 12 Akta itu mula berkuat kuasa; dan

(c)

1 Jun 2025 sebagai tarikh seksyen 6 dan 9 Akta itu mula berkuat kuasa.

APPOINTMENT OF DATE OF COMING INTO OPERATION

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 1(2) of the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2024 [Act A1727], the Minister appoints—

(a)

1 January 2025 as the date on which sections 7, 11, 13 and 14 of the Act come into operation;

(b)

1 April 2025 as the date on which sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10 and 12

of the Act come into operation; and

(c)

1 June 2025 as the date on which sections 6 and 9 of the Act come into operation.
