Preamble
- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 65U Ordinan Perkapalan Saudagar 1952 [Ord. 70/1952], Menteri mengecualikan kapal yang bukan kapal Malaysia daripada pemakaian subseksyen 65KA(1) Ordinan berkenaan dengan kapal kontena bagi perkhidmatan kargo pindah kapal yang dikontenakan, dalam pelayaran tunggal tanpa henti—
(b)
dari suatu pelabuhan di Semenanjung Malaysia ke suatu pelabuhan di Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan dan sebaliknya; dan
(c)
dari suatu pelabuahan di Sabah ke pelabuhan lain di Sabah;
berkuat kuasa mulai 1 Jun 2024.

MERCHANT SHIPPING ORDINANCE 1952
EXEMPTION UNDER SECTION 65U
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 65U of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1952 [Ord. 70/1952], the Minister exempts non-Malaysian ships from the application of subsection 65KA(1) of the Ordinance in respect of the container ship for service of containerized transshipment cargo, in a non-stop single voyage—
(b)
from a port in Peninsular Malaysia to a port in the Federal Territory of Labuan and vice versa; and
(c)
from a port in Sabah to another port in Sabah;
with effect from 1 June 2024.
