PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 2A(2) Akta Pemberi Pinjam Wang 1951 [Akta 400], Menteri mengecualikan MyCreative Ventures Sdn. Bhd. (987604-M) daripada kuat kuasa Akta ini bagi tempoh mulai 1 Jun 2024 hingga 30 Julai 2028 dengan syarat bahawa—

(a)

syarikat ialah pemegang lesen pemberi pinjam wang yang sah;

(b)

faedah bagi pinjaman bercagar syarikat tidak boleh melebihi dua belas peratus setahun dan faedah bagi pinjaman tanpa cagaran syarikat tidak melebihi lapan belas peratus setahun; dan

(c)

syarikat hendaklah mengemukakan kepada Menteri suatu penyata rekod berhubung dengan transaksi pemberian pinjaman wang syarikat dalam apa-apa bentuk dan mengandungi apa-apa maklumat sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Pendaftar tidak lewat dari 1 Februari setiap tahun.

EXEMPTION UNDER SUBSECTION 2A(2)

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 2A(2) of the Moneylenders Act 1951 [Act 400], the Minister exempts MyCreative Ventures Sdn. Bhd. (987604-M) from the operation of the Act for a period from 1 June 2024 to 30 July 2028 provided that—

(a)

the company is the holder of a valid moneylender licence;

(b)

the interest for a secured loan of the company shall not exceed twelve per centum per annum and the interest for unsecured loan of the company shall not exceed eighteen per centum per annum; and

(c)

the company shall submit to the Minister a statement of records in relation to the money lending transactions of the company in any form and containing any information as determined by the Registrar not later than 1 February of each year.
