  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 44(2) of the Direct Sales and Anti-Pyramid Scheme Act 1993 [Act 500], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement 1.

These regulations may be cited as the Direct Sales (Compounding of Offences)

(Amendment) Regulations 2018.

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2019.

Amendment of regulation 1 2.

The Direct Sales (Compounding of Offences) Regulations 1993 [P.U (A) 256/1993], which are referred to as the “principal Regulations” in these Regulations, are amended in regulation 1

by inserting after the words

“Direct

the words

“and Anti-Pyramid Scheme”.

Amendment of regulation 2 3.

The principal Regulations are amended by substituting for regulation 2 the following regulation:
