[P.U. (A) 370/2016], yang disebut “Peraturan-Peraturan ibu” dalam Peraturan-Peraturan ini, dipinda dalam subperaturan 2(1)—
dengan menggantikan perkataan
“Perintah
Kastam
(Larangan Mengenai Import) 2012 [P.U. (A) 490/2012]” dengan perkataan
“Perintah Kastam (Larangan Mengenai Import) 2017 [P.U. (A) 103/2017]”;
dan
dengan menggantikan perenggan (a) dengan perenggan yang berikut:
“(a)
berhubung dengan tiga puluh lima ribu lesen import yang pertama diluluskan untuk keseluruhan syarikat AP terbuka bagi tempoh sah laku peruntukan
AP tahun semasa,

sepuluh ribu ringgit bagi setiap unit kenderaan bermotor yang diimport oleh syarikat AP terbuka itu;”.

Peraturan 5 Peraturan-Peraturan ibu dipinda dengan menggantikan perkataan
“dalam bentuk draf bank” dengan perkataan “dengan mengikut cara yang ditentukan oleh
Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri”.

CUSTOMS (IMPORT LICENCE FEE FOR MOTOR VEHICLE) (AMENDMENT)
REGULATIONS 2019
Opening note
These regulations may be cited as the Customs (Import Licence Fee for
Motor Vehicle) (Amendment) Regulations 2019.
These
Regulations are deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 2017 except for paragraph 2(a).
Paragraph 2(a) is deemed to have come into operation on 1 April 2017.
Amendment of regulation 2 2.
The Customs (Import Licence Fee for Motor Vehicle) Regulations 2016
[P.U. (A) 370/2016], which are referred to as the “principal Regulations" in these
Regulations, are amended in subregulation 2(1)—
by substituting for the words “Customs (Prohibition of Imports)
Order 2012 [P.U. (A) 490/2012]” the words “Customs (Prohibition of
Imports) Order 2017 [P.U. (A) 103/2017]”; and
by substituting for paragraph (a) the following paragraph:
“(a)
in relation to the first thirty five thousand import licences approved for the whole of the open AP companies during the validity period of the current year’s AP allocation, ten thousand ringgit for each unit of the motor vehicle imported by the open
AP company;”.

Amendment of regulation 5 3.
Regulation 5 of the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the words
“in the form of a banker’s draft” the words “in a manner to be determined by the Secretary General of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry”.
