FOOD ACT 1983

FOOD HYGIENE (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2014

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 34 of the Food Act 1983 [Act 281], the

Minister makes the following regulations:

Citation 1.

These regulations may be cited as the Food Hygiene (Amendment)

Regulations 2014.

Amendment of regulation 30 2.

The Food Hygiene Regulations 2009 [P.U. (A) 95/2009], which are referred to as the “principal Regulations” in these Regulations, are amended in regulation 30—

(a)

by substituting for subregulation (1) the following subregulation:

“(1) All food handlers shall undergo a food handlers training and obtain a Certificate of Food Handlers Training from an institution approved by the Director.”; and

(b)

in subregulation (2), by substituting for the word “specified” the word

“approved”.

Amendment of Second Schedule 3.

The Second Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the words “[Subregulation 5(1)]” the words “[Regulation 5]”.
